Filler 4: Thunder and Buttons!

Once again, sorry there's no comic yet. That danged cold thing (more like death flu!) knocked me out all last week. And I'm still coughing a bit. So I've had to work on other things, including the above image, which I made for our local newspaper, the Westside Pioneer. It's related to a story about Prairie Dog O'Byrne, who owned these two elk named Thunder and Buttons who he'd race up and down Colorado Ave. in Colorado City during the late 1800s. And he'd bring Laura Belle, queen of the Red Light District, along for the ride. Anyway, the whole story will be up on the Pioneer's website in a couple of weeks once I archive it. So I'll put up another link then!
In any case, expect a real comic sometime this weekend!
